Strange how people react to an approaching runner. They seem to act even weirder with a bicyclists. I don't do either as much since leaving Florida, but I do fix typewriters. Good that your run worked out.
I think I can relate to the runner"s social conundrum, but for me it is walking the dog. Depending on my train of thought it could be focusing on something in particular or listening to an audio recording, then along comes another dog owner and their unpredictable pet or even just a comment from any passerby to disrupt the whole experience...so be it. On the topic of your Royal's lack of features, the more I circulate through my collection the less I pay attention to what some have over the others...I stick to the Cold Hard Type.

ReplyDeleteIt did and I wrote another page because of it.
DeleteTyperunner!
ReplyDeleteNow I wonder if JVC could finagle some sort of DIY typewriting desk for runners on the go.

Sounds like old news reporting. Remember that? The kind with value and integrity? :)
Nothing better than a meandering run and a meandering imagination. I used to meander a lot .... ;)
ReplyDeleteI still do. :)
