There was always wildfire smoke and stink during the summer in FL. I wore an activated charcoal filter pollution mask nearly every morning when I went out for a walk, run or bike ride. The beach was usually fine, but 10 miles from home.

I haven’t had to go to that extreme since my Navy days. N95 works, but breathing can be a challenge. :)
